My love for photography began back in high school - I started with my Dad's Canon A-1. Manual focus, manual film winder, and an incredibly satisfying click every time I released the shutter. I've been addicted ever since. I took pictures of everything, but I've learned that what I really want to capture are the moments overlooked by the average person; the kinds of things that you will completely pass over that contain so much beauty.

I feel that I have a responsibility to photography, and it transcends simply taking good pictures and knowing my hardware. My mission in photography is to convey the essence and the experience of a moment - to bring it to you the way it was experienced in the first place. Authenticity and accuracy are my aims, and I will accept nothing less.

I photograph with a moral in mind: honesty. Truth is what sets my photography apart; a sensitivity for emotion makes it memorable. A portrait isn't just a portrait with me. I actually try to weave in a bit of your soul so that the rest of the world can enjoy it for the rest of time.

My mediums are digital and film, and I have a passion for both - the canvas isn't very important to me, it's the art that matters.

I live in Fort Collins in Colorado with my beautiful wife, Sara. I operate all over northern and central Colorado.
